    hmm.. onpa mielenkiintoinen. Jos kiekko on ollut ACHI -tilassa, "irroita taltio" -toiminto on voinut irroittaa sen "hotswappina" ja silloin se kiekko merkitään "otetuksi pois käytöstä". Näyttäisi siltä, että BIOS ei jostain kumman syystä haistele väyliä eli se ei löydä sitä irroitettua ja uudelleen kytkettyä kovalevyä uudelleen

    En ihan tarkkaan tuota hotswap-prosessia tunne, mutta oma käsitys on, että ei sen kovalevyn pitäisi biosista hävitä.. ellei sitten "hotswapissa" käyttiksen tehtävä haistella kovalevyt ja lähetellä info poistosta sitten biosille, jolloin bios ei enää sitä haistelisikaan.. noh, oli miten oli.

    katso ensiksi löytyykö se kolmas kiekko jostain järjestelmän syövereistä komennolla sudo cat /sys/class/scsi_disk/*/device/model - tuon pitäisi antaa kolme mallimerkintää, eli kiinni olevien kovalevyjen mallit. Jos listassa on kaikki kolme kovalevyä niin Linux (kuten windowskin) voidaan pakottaa haistelemaan SATA-väylät uudelleen jos automatiikka, jostain kumman syystä, kusee käsille. "Uudelleenhaistelu"
    lähtee komennolla sudo echo "0 0 0" > /sys/class/scsi_host/host0/scan.

    Jos et saa tuolla /sys/class/blaaablaa -komennolla kuin 2 mallimerkintään niin kyse on sitten kyse voi olla BIOSin bugista tai kovalevy on mennyt paskaksi. Sitä "hävinnyttä" kovalevyä voisi testata jossain toisessa koneessa jotta varmistetaan, että se toimii - ja jos se toisessa koneessa toimii niin silloin neuvo on, että nollaa koneesi bios ja pistä sormet ristiin, että kolmas kovalevy ilmestyy.

    Ei löytynyt tuollakaan komennolla.. Ei ole oikein mahdollisuutta kokeilla millään toisella koneella tuota kovoa..

    Ei tuohon oikein muuta tule mieleen kuin BIOS päivitys, palautus oletusarvoille, ACHI pois mitä voisi kokeilla.

    Sain yhdellä koneella kokeiltua, ei käynnistynyt koko windows siinä.. BIOS:in päivitin-> ei vaikutusta..

    jos sillä "hävinneellä" kovalevyllä ei windowsia ollut asennettuna ja se oli ainoa kovalevy kiinni testikoneessa niin ei sen kuullukkaan käynnistyä :)

    Jos testikoneessa oli toimiva kiekko, johon asennettu winukka, joka ei käynnistynty ongelmallisen kiintolevyn ollessa kiinni, niin se viittaisi silloin vialliseen kovalevyyn.

    Löysikö sen toisen koneen BIOS sen "hävinneen" levyn?

    Näyttäisi vähän siltä, että kiekko on jostain hyvin hyvin kummallisesta syystä vikaantunut ja vikaantuminen osunut tuohon "irroita taltio" toiminnan yhteyteen..

    Ja ei, normaalisti irroittaminen ei tee kiintolevyille tuollaista: nyt on vaan osunut jotain muutakin erikoista tuohon samaan tapahtumaan.

    Kyllä oli tuossa testikoneessa oma kiintolevy kiinni ja siinä oli winukka! ;)
    Ja BIOSiin en päässyt, kun mistään näppäimestä ei tapahtunut mitään.

    Osaisko joku vielä kertoo et miks netti ei tuon levyn katoamisen jälkeen ole toiminut Winukalla lainkaan ja Linuxilla hitaasti/pätkien?
    Ei vaikutusta onko mokkula vai langaton yhteys.
    WLAN kortin ajurit ym on poistettu ja asennettu uudelleen, mutta tämä ei auttanut..

    dmesg antaa usein hyödyllistä infoa. Itsellä sinne tuli erroria kun koneen käynnistys hidastui. Syynä oli kovalevy joka liitettiin normaalia hitaammalla nopeudella. Kun vaihdoin sata-piuhan startti palasi normaaliksi. Ehkä piuha vain huonosti kiinni, mutta kun oli ylimääräinen tuli piuhahakin vaihdettua. Voit vilkaista myös emon konkkia jos näkyy pullistumia tai vuotoja.Toki piuhojen vaihtamista voi myös koettaa. Vaikuttaa kovasti siltä, että levy on rikki.

    hm.. dmesg:in mukaan koneessa on kiinni vain 2 kiintolevyä (+ dvd-asema)..

    Tuota noin.. millainen kokoonpano sinulla on (liitetyt laitteet ja powerin tehot) nimittäin jos pakettimikroon liipastaan 3 kiekkoa + romppuasema ja tehokkaampi näytönohjain niin sitten voipi joku laite jäädä ilman virtasta..

    Koneessa on kiinni kaksi kiintolevyä tällä hetkellä. Se ilmeisesti rikkinäinen ei ole tällä hetkellä kiinni. Ja eipä se dmesgissä varmaan näkyisikään se kolmas kovo..

    Kovo lähtee takuupalautuksena huomenna takaisin liikkeeseen.
    Asensin Winukan ja Linuxn uudestaan, nyt toimii netti, mutta Windows 7 käynnistyy automaattisesti. Eli en pysty käyttämään Linuxia. Mistä johtuu?

    jos asensit win7:n linuxin jälkeen, niin asennuksen yhteydessä winukan boottiloaderi on jyrännyt linuxin käyttämän grubin alleen.

    nappaa ohjelma nimeltä EasyBCD (winukan ohjelma) ja sen avulla voisi saada lisättyä (jos lontoon muurre on hallussa.) Linuxin tuohon win7:n buuttivalikkoon ja määriteltyä Win 7:n buuttivalikolle vaikka 3 sekunnin "valinta-ajan"

    Winukan asensin ensin..
    Seuraavalla ohjeella sain Linuxin käynnistymään:

    sudo fdisk -l
    eli tulostaa kaikki levyosiot(esimerkki):

    Tuosta tulosteesta katsotaan osio jossa Ubuntu on, eli tuossa on osiolla sda2.
    Nyt mountaa osio, komenna(sda2 tilalle toinen osio jos on eri!):
    sudo mount /dev/sda2 /mnt
    ja asenna Grub sda osiolle komennolla:
    sudo grub-install --boot-directory=/mnt/boot /dev/sda
    sitten irrotus komennolla:
    sudo umount /mnt
    Ulos päätteeltä:
    exit
