Mitenköhän mahdan saada verkon taas toimimaan. Kun menin asentamaan windowsin korjauasennuksen vanhalla windowsin levyllä jossa on service pack 1. Tajusin kuitenkin kesken asennuksen että konehan voi mennä jumiin koska siinä oli asennettuna kaikki uusimmat windowsin päivitykset, joten keskeytin asennuksen ja otin levyn pois cd asemasta. Tämän jälkeen ei enää verkkoyhteyksissä näkynyt verkko yhteyttä. Eli kun laittaa verkkoyhteydet ja näytä kaikki yhteydet niin verkkoa ei näy. Eli siis mitäköhän tässä on mahollista tehdä?
Asenna verkkokortin ajurit. Saitko tosiaan korjausasennuksen keskeytettyä? Minä etsin joskus millä tavalla sen saisi keskeytettyä ja enkä löytänyt mitään menetelmää. En ole tosin tuota sittenmin edes yrttänytkään. Missä vaiheessa asennus oli?
Mistäköhän ne verkkokortin ajurit löydän tuolta? Keskeytin asennuksen ihan alkuvaiheessa, otin CD-levyn pois asemasta vain.
Merkkikoneen ajurit voi ladata netistä valmistajan sivuilta yleensä helpoimmin. Laitehallinnasta voi katso puuttuuko ajureita: Ohjauspaneeli -> Valvontatyökalut -> Tietokoneen hallinta -> Laitehallinta (tai Käynnistä -> Suorita -> Kirjoita Avaa laatikkoon devmgmt.msc ja paina ENTER)
Yritin hakea oman emolevyni valmistajan sivuilta ajureita. Löysin jotain mutta siinä oli pelkkiä yksittäisiä tiedostoja enkä tiedä mitä noille tulee tehdä. Kokeilin kuitenkin ohjauspaneelista lisää uusi laite. Sieltä sain hetken kikkailtua asennettua jonkin verkkosovittimen, nimellä Microsoft Loopback Adapter. Asennuksen aikana se tarvitsi windowsin CD-levyltä jonkun tiedoston. Nyt verkkoyhteyksissä näkyy siis tuo Microsoft Loopback Adapter, mutta kuvakkeessa on keltainen huutomerkki ja se herjaa että vajaa tai puuttuva liitettävyys. Laitehallinnassa näkyy myös tuo ja sen lisäksi verkkosovittimien kohdassa näkyy tuntematon laite. En tiedä sitten auttaisko jos nyt asentasin service pack 3:n uudelleen. E
Microsoft Loopback Adapter:lla ei pääse minnekään. Se on virtuaalinen kortti testikäyttöön ja jos tarvitaan verkkotoiminnot jostain syystä, vaikka ei ole verkkoyhteyttä. (Printing from Foxpro dos version to new printer) Kerro emolevyn malli niin koetan etsiä ajurit.

En löytänyt sieltä mitään winsetupia. Ainoastaan jonkun exe tiedoston jota kun klikkaa niin avautuu joku ohjelma ja sanoo että Cannot find any adapter! Press any key to continue ja ohjelma sammuu.
Tämäpä ihmeellistä. Mikä sen tiedoston nimi oli? Minä latasin sen itsekin, jotta tiedän sanoa tarkalleen mitä pitää tehdä. Jos ei tuokaan toimi niin pitää selvittää jollain ohjelmalla mikä verkkokortti sinulla on (jos levystä on malli ilman integroitua verkkokorttia eli sinulla on erillinen verkkokortti laajennuspaikassa)

Jaahas. Niinpä olinkin. Nyt sain sen eli kansiosta löytyy tuommoinen kuin Winsetup ja sitä kun klikkaan niin tulee sanoma Can not find proper NIC, click OK to exit program. Everest trial (kokeilu) versiolla voi etsiä Ethernet Adapter:a. Voisi löytyä kohdasta Verkko -> PCI- tai PnP-verkko Lataa vaikka ensimmäisestä linkistä. Edit: Oletko muuttanut BIOS:sta jotain. Sieltä voi poistaa verkkokortin (Disable LAN) käytöstä. Voisiko se olla vahingossa muutettu.
Kokeile asentaa vielä sillä tavalla, että laitehallinnassa klikaat hiiren oikealla sitä tuntematonta laitetta ja Päivitä ohjain -> Ei tällä kertaa: Next -> Asenna luettelosta tai määritellystä sijainnista:Next -> Etsi paras ohjain näistä sijanneista, Sisällytä tämä kohde etsintään, Selaa nappula ja selaa x86 kansioon, joka oli puretussa paketissa.
No nyt toimii! Se näytti sen tuntemattoman laitteen tilalla tuon oikean nimen ja päivitin siitä sitten vain sen ohjaimen ja nyt pelittää. Kiitti erittäin paljon avuista.
