Tuli semmonen asia mieleen että tarkoittaako tuon U2 bändin nimi niinkuin englannin murteessa näin: U = you, 2 = too. Eli bändin nimi olisi silloin sinä myös? Keksin tän jutun ite ja nyt kysynkin enemmän tietäviltä että onko asia näin?
Muistan jostain lukeneeni, ettei vissin edes bändi ole varma tuosta nimestä. Toinen vaihtoehto on että nimellä viitataan vanhaan kylmän sodan aikaiseen amerikkalaiseen Gary Powersin lentämään Lockheed U-2 vakoilukoneeseen, jonka Neuvostoliitto sitten vihdoin vappupäivänä -60 sai ammuttua alas ilmatorjuntaohjuksella (SA-2) jota niillä ei pitänyt olla.
