Eli ostin Quake 4, mutta kun laitoin dvd:n asemaan, niin mitään ei tapahdu alkaa vaan junnaamaan paikoillaan. No löysin ongelmaani ratkaisen. (vai löysinkö?). DVD aseman ajurit täytyisi päivittää. Aseman malli oli GDR-8161B, ja hain päivitykset. Mutta readmeiin kun luin niin kaikki meni yli hilseeen. Eli käyttö järjestelmä on xp home ed. Voisiko joku suomentaa tämän asennus ohjeen sillä tavalla että minäkin joka en paljoakaan ymmärrä tietokoneista osaisin päivittää asemani, siis hyvin yksin kertaiseen muotoon. Huom. vaikka tuossa mainitaan että se olisi GDR-8151B versioon päivitys niin, aivan varmasti tämä on se oikea.

Ole hyvä ja katso ohjeet emolevyn manuaalista miten käynnistysjärjestyt muutetaan. Tai ota yhteyttä myyjään/valmistajan ja kysy apua. 10. Kun kaikki ovat kansiossa A:\>JD2 paina enter. Ensinnäkään firmware ei ole ajuri,normaali dvd/cd asema ei tarvitse mitään omaa ajuria toimiakseen vaan toosassa on universaali ajuri joka toimii ide vehkeiden kanssa. Firware on laitteen bios,jossa on esim. tiedot siitä miten eri medioita luetaan/kirjoitetaan ym. vastaavaa informaatiota. Onko koneesi merkkikone vai klooni ? Jos fujitsu siemens jossa asema tuli mukana http://fsc-pc.de/support/drvupload.asp?DRV=30742&LG=EN&Info=Download on oikea firmis Jos HP jossa asema tuli mukana ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software2/COL4271/pv-13993-1/SP23952.exe on oikea firmis Muutoin käytä sitä minkä jo latasit. Nrautavan ohjeet ovat ihan ok. Epäilen kyllä että kyse olisi firmis ongelmasta.
