Yritin päivittää biossia MSI:n live update ohjelmalla mutta se heitti vaan jotain flash errorii ja "palvelua ei ole sammutettu"!!! Emolevynä on MSI P35 Neo-F ja käyttiksenä 64bit Vista. Voisko johtuu käyttiksestä? Saako ton live updaten 64bit vistalle ollenkaan?
Juu, mulla on ihan sama juttu, Vista 64:llä ei lähteny mut XP:llä kyllä. Suosittelen USB tikulla flashausta, jos ei floppy asemaa ole. BIOS löytyy ftp://66.232.110.239/ ja tuo sinun emosi taitaa olla MS-7360. Ja jos ei floppya löydy, USB tikulla saat käyttämällä http://forum.msi.com.tw/index.php?topic=108079.0 Tai sitten käytä XP:tä, jos löytyy

Eikö ole 64bit vistaan tehty live updatea? Oisko tohon ubs-tikulta fläshäykseen suomenkielisiä ohjeita?
Kai nuo voisi yrittää jotenkuten suomentaa. Ohjeet voi tulostaa varmuuden vuoksi. Koodi: Älä sammuta tai uudelleenkäynnistä konetta flashauksen aikana Muista, ettei flashauksen epäonnistuessa emolevystä tulee kätyttökelvoton. BIOS päivitys kestää n. 20 sekunttia. Kun BIOS päivitys on onnistunut, katso monitoristasi flashauksen onnistuneen - vasta sitten voit sammuttaa tietokoneesi. Sammuttamisen jälkeen ota virtakaapeli irti PSU paikasta ja puhdista CMOS asetukset emolevyn käyttöohjeiden mukaisesti. Laita virtakaapeli koneeseen ja käynnistä kone. Paina F1 kun tulee ilmoitus "CMOS Checksum error - Defaults loaded". Tämän jälkeen käynnistä uudestaan, mene BIOS:een ja paina "Load BIOS Optimized Default Settings". Valitse "Save and exit". Kun tietokone käynnistyy uudestaan, voit mennä BIOS:iin ja säätää asetukset itsellesi sopiviksi. Mitään suomennoksen arvosteluja tuskin tarvitaan. Create an autoexec.bat with text inside "Award_Flash_Utility Biosname" in the content (e.g. awdfl823K w6378vms.130) then save changes. 3 Boot up system with the said floppy (it will take less than 2 minutes, before screen comes out) re-flash the BIOS & reboot.
