..ja kaikki osannee lukea sen lainauksen ihan sieltä sivulta, ja koska tämä on ilmainen niin eiköhän tää tuu vielä hyvällä tuurilla siihen yhteen sticky -ketjuun jossa on listattu ohjelmia mut hyvä et tulee ilmaisiakin softia markkinoille, ei aina ole kaikki maksullista tai demoa edit: vaihdoin otsikon, nyt tää ei oo enää 'mainos' vaan ennemmin 'uutinen' joten tähän ketjuun keskustelua aiheesta, esim. jos jollain on tietoa miten tehokas tämä on, onko uudet tunnisteet nopeasti saatavilla & kuinka hyvin löytää jne jne jne.... =)
Käyttää Kasperskyn tunnisteita eli ihan pätevä. Käytännössä karsittu versio KAV 6:sta. Miinuksia: - haluaa asentaa AOL toolbarin asennuksen yhteydessä - haluaa myös "soittaa kotiin" eli lähettää googlelle muistaakseni tietoa - mukana ei web-skannausta. Mutta varmasti yksi parhaista ilmaisista virustorjunnoista
no nyt asensin sen mut sit ku se käski sammuttaa koneen niin ku tulee se sininen tausta mis lukee et sammutetaan jne jne.. niin nyt ku käynnistin niin sit tekstii ei ollu ollenkaa ja kone tilttas siihen eli jouduin painaa 10 sek virtanäppäintä et sain koneen sammuksii.. haittaskohan toi sitä ohjelman asennusta ku jouduin pakottamalla samuttamaan koneen?

Vaikka web-skannaus puuttuukin, niin kai kyseisellä ohjelmalla, palomuurilla ja hosts-tiedostolla pärjää? Eli voi hyvillä mielin siirtyä Avastista tähän?
Asensin Active Virus Shield ohjelman ja se löysi Trojan-PSW.Win32.Lineage.acn viruksen winrar 3.51 version asennuspaketista jota sai ladata ilmaiseksi netistä yhtenä päivänä. Myös samainen tiedosto (Default.SFX) löytyy asennetusta Winrar kansiosta. Default.SFX löytyy myös ainakin versiosta 3.41 ja 3.60 mutta Avs ei löydä niistä mitään. Vaihdanko winrarrin vanhempaan.

Päätin kokeilla tätä Active Virus Shieldiä... Tuli kuitenkin ongelmia asennusvaiheessa. Kaikki meni hyvin, mutta "copying new files" -vaiheen jälkeen tuli "rolling back action", jolloin ohjelma kaiketi poisti kaiken siihen asti asennetun ohjelmiston. Tämän jälkeen Setup Wizard vaan toteaa: "Installation ended prematurely because of an error". Kun yrittää uudestaan, niin se ehdottaa että kone pitää käynnistää uudelleen. Tämä ei kuitenkaan ongelmaa ratkaise. Nopealla selailulla google ei tarjonut ratkaisua. Löytyykö keltään apua? EDIT Ongelma ratkennut! Poistin Avastin vikasietotilassa, ajoin CCleanerin sekä EasyCleanerin muutamaan kertaan ja käynnistin koneen pari kertaa uudestaan. Sen jälkeen asennus onnistui.
