My settopbox, bought in Finland, named HUMAX TIVUBOX is showing the message that it is going to load software. Right from the start when the power is applied. LED, on the front, shows short red and a short flashing green light and turns on red again for the time being. I am not sure are you able to read Finnish, but on this web page there is mentioned that firmware updating must be done in humax service dealer.
Thanks for the reaction ! Ymmaran ( Anteeksi points are not on this key board) I found that page also. Working for more then 30 years with computers makes me feel that I can handle that job. And they don't let me ....... They told me its a problem on the MOTHERBOARD ! (That board has the size of a foetus !) Ensimainen loma me tule suomeen. Se kesta melkein yhden vuottaa. How service friendly a firm can be !
