Repikää tästä: I had this problem (error code 0x8078012D) with backup and system image creation with Windows 7 Professional. It is possible that I still have it. Hardware: HP HDX X18-1000EO, backup to WD 1 TB usb HDD (NTFS). As my Windows 7 crashed and I realized that I had no means to recover the system (The System Restore Points have a tendency to disappear when the system crashes, anybody noticed that?), no system image, I made a clean install and decided that this time I will back my system up really well. However, the Windows 7 backup utility did not agree with me. There were some writings on various forums, but nothing seemed to help. The same error kept on popping up no matter what I tried. As I had really nothing to lose except time and patience, I did the following things: 1 - Made a clean Windows 7 Professional install. Again. After this the same problem continued. 2 - Made sure that all windows services were started automatically and running VSS, COM+ etc. This did not help. So I installed Norton 360 to be able to back up at least my files. 3 - Did CHDSK /r on both source and target disks Nothing found. 4 - Disabled Norton 360 This did not help. 5 - Disconnected all connections that could interfere with the backup. Other usb's, my net connection, I even unplugged my headphones. No success. 6 - Tried to do the backup manually. This worked to a certain degree. Most data files were backed up, but still no system image. The same idiot code kept on popping up: 0x8078012D. 7 - I gave up This helped. I simply downloaded a free 3rd party software to create the backup and system image. I still have to see if I am able to recover anything with this free software, if (read: when) my highly praised Windows 7 crashes again. Question: If some free third party software is able to solve this Windows 7 backup and system image problem, why does Microsoft choose not to do so? Suggestion: Microsoft, put up a web page, where people can enter their error code and donate a reasonable sum of money, and in return get a solution to their problem in due time. That is, after you have got enough money to release the solution. Considering all the problems people seem to have, this would be a great business opportunity for Microsoft. It would, of course, hurt a lot of businesses, which ride on problems that Microsoft does not feel like solving. But, it would be businesswise more productive than throw the money in false promises and expensive mind-bending campaigns as was done with Windows 7. Not to mention all the frustration and precious time spent in vain by various individuals on this globe. Have fun!
No mitäs varten se lontooksi pitää tänne tunkea? Sitäpaitsi ei mikkisoftalla itekään tiedetä kaikkien error koodien merkitystä, ne kombinoituu joidenkin eri tekijöiden vaikuttaessa ongelmaan eikä niistä ota hullukaan selvää.
Mitä ihmettä tuo kommentti tarkoitti? Kyllä Microsoftilla tiedetään tasan tarkkaan, mistä on kysymys. Hulluahan on se, että asian korjaamiseksi ei tehdä mitään. Your point being?
Eivät kaikkia tiedä. Joskus voi tulla kombinaatioita erilaisten ongelmien samanaikaisuudessa, että puskee erroria (blue screenissä) josta eivät ottaneet Microsoftilla selvää. Suuntaa-antavan pystyivät kertomaan, liittyi ROM-muistiin ja siihen ettei siitä voinut ajaa jotain, muuta ei pystynyt sanomaan ja tämäkin vain F-kirjainten määrästä. Kukaan heistä ei tiennyt numeroiden merkitystä, kertoivat vain että yleensä siitä selviää tarkempikin syy. Tarkempi syy oli käynnistystiedostoihin yhteensopivuusongelman yhteydessä tullut solmu, jota ei käytössä huomaa. Käynnistyksessä vasta. Sanoivat että jos yksi nolla olisi ollut toisessa paikassa olisi voinut olla emolevyn ongelmaa, mutta kun ei. Eivät ne niitä erroreita kaikkia voi tietää, ne kun usein muuttuvat itsekseen jos on useammanlaista vikaa kerralla.
En oikein ymmärrä, mitä bluescreenillä on tekemistä nykyisen Windowsin kanssa. Taitaa olla aika harvinainen näky. Muuten, kiitos, että edes joku heräsi, thx JustGamer or the "Bluescreen". Ite olen sitä mieltä, että kun mainostavat käyttistään, niin mainostajan pitää pysyä sanoissaan. MS on aina lipsunut tästä, niinkuin nytkin. W7 on paha, paha mainostemppu. Se on nyt ollut alalla tiedossa, muidenkin kuin Microsoftin joukoissa. Ite pysyn sanoissani. MS voi sitten osoittaa meikäläisen kommentteja vääräksi. Vaikka tuskinpa sitä tapahtuu. Se on jokaisen oma asia, haluaako uskoa vetten päällä kävelyyn vai ajella siellä ihan oikeasti moottorikelkalla.
Kaikkihan tietää että MS kusettaa. BSOD on erittäin yleinen myös nykyisen Windowsin kanssa. Tosin ne on entistä helpompi korjata ilman sen suurempaa asiantuntemusta tai palautuslevyä. Windows 7 on tällä hetkellä maailman paras käyttöjärjestelmä. Varmasti jos vaikkapa Gianthard Doors 64-bit tulisi 75e hintaan markkinoille tukien kaikkia Windows-pelejä ja ollen turvallisempi, selkeäkäyttöisempi, muunneltavampi ja kevyempi niin joutuisivat microsoftin pojatkin kerrankin tekemään oikean käyttiksen. Kun ei ole mitään kilpailua, niin..
Hehe, just näin. Mulla on muuten yhdessä koneessa vielä ihka aito ensiasenettu xp. Se Toshiban läppäri on jumaliste raksuttanu ainakin kolme vuotta. Kävin välillä vinkuintiassa ja ajattelin antaa koneen lahjaksi köyhille. Ja paskat, nyt pelkkä ajatuskin naurattaa.
