Hi, backing up some of my dvds, used smartripper then blacksuns dvdreraper, quality seems ok and i get my dvd on a cd in avi. However, when i rip a dvd with directors commentary on it, i always get the directors commentary version, how do i just rip the normal version?
Any help and suggestions appreciated,

I don't know about SmartRipper, but vStrip offers you 100% control what you rip, how you rip and when you rip. But it's not the tool for newbies or for even intermediate users, it's hardcore ripper's tool. But short guide for it should give you the idea how to select the correct audiostream from the VOB:
